Here are a few examples of how Junk Wallet works:
Example #1: The T-Mobile WiFi Range Extender
In this example, we will pretend the customer wants to sell their T-Mobile WiFi range extender. The price Junk Wallet sells it for is $38. Then, we pay the mailing expenses: 38.00 – 12.55 = 25.45. next, we split the money in half: 25.45 ÷ 2 = 12.73. So here, the customer will get $12.73. Junk Wallet will pay for other expenses such as PayPal fees, listing fees, and anything else other than shipping.
Example #2: The Amprobe CO2-100 Handheld Carbon Dioxide Meter
Here, the customer is selling their Amprobe CO2-100 Handheld Carbon Dioxide Meter. Junk Wallet lists it for $174.48. Shipping cost $11.16, so 174.48 – 11.16 = 163.32. 163.32 ÷ 2 = 81.66, so the customer gets $81.66, and Junk Wallet pays the rest of the expenses.
The Formula:
(sell price – mailing expenses) ÷ 2 = customers share. (sell price – mailing expenses) – customers share – other fees = Junk Wallets share.
